THE COMPANY
One of the largest mining companies globally is looking for a Senior security engineer. The client has highlighted the urgency for this position. Interviews will be scheduled before the end of the week after CV's have been assessed.
Glocomms has successfully placed 10 contractors with them within the last 12 months. Consistently placing contractors with this client has created a strong relationship with the client.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Senior Security Engineer
Responsibilities
- Analyze firewall requests
- Optimization of firewall policies
- Able to understand business requests/requirements and find a common ground with Security Requirements
- Familiar with security concepts (Terminal server, VPN, S2S tunnels, Zoning, Azure, OT, Identity Firewall, …)
- Maintaining and optimizing proxy policy (Zscaler)
- Security Incident and Operations handling
- Coordinate with the network team
- Join meetings with stakeholders as security representative , Serve as a security first point of contact
- Apply security policies and standards
- Work closely together with the security architects
Technologies required:
- Familiar with firewall platforms like Fortinet and Cisco FTD; and client VPN
- Familiar with proxy platform like Zscaler
- Team player
- Work independent
- Azure knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of log management (ELK , Kibana , Azure Sentinel, dashboard creation) is a plus
- Security mindset
