New role! Data Interconnect Specialist based in the Netherlands.We are looking for a Data Interconnect Specialist based in the Netherlands with 8+ years of experience. Main responsibilities include ensuring continuous network performance by tracking, planning, and implementing all Peering requirements for the Core Network.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage all Peering capacity upgrades ensuring that any capacity forecast is distributed correctly, and critical upgrades handled accordingly.
- Liaise with Change Management to provide an up-to-date listing of all Peering connections.
- Point of contact between Peering partners for the delivery and implementation of services.
- Continually assess on-going processes; suggest and implement improvements where necessary.
- Project Manage Peering builds, including 3rd party colocations ensuring handovers are according to the standards.
- Responsible for design management in databases to provide Operations with an accurate reflection of the physical network for troubleshooting activities.
Technical skills and experience required:
- Coordination and management of internal and 3rd party deliveries.
- In-depth and insight knowledge of the Service Provider, Carrier Market and Data Centre industry.
- Product Management experience in the Telecom Market specifically related to leased services.
- Technical telecommunication knowledge.
- Knowledge of fibre networks routing.
- Thorough understanding of IP Peering and IP Transit.
- Industry experience in carrier market for at least 8-10 years.
Must have skills:
- Project Management experience.
- Strong communications and relationship management skills.
- Experience to write Financial and Business case.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Higher level of education.
- Team player with good time management skills.
- Experience in multinational and multicultural environments.
