New role! Sr. Data Centre Network Engineer based in AmsterdamWe are looking for a Sr. Data Centre Network Engineer based in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate for this role has proven knowledge and experience with the Checkpoint products on different releases and HW.
Must have Checkpoint Firewalls knowledge and experience:
- Strong knowledge of the Checkpoint Firewalls products.
- The candidate must be familiar with new deployments on VSX from scratch, administration, and good level of CLI/Expert mode.
- Familiar with all blades and products, not only firewall module.
- Capable to develop solution architecture and high-level design and low-level design.
- Capable to consolidate standalone firewalls to VSX environment.
- Experience to upgrade checkpoint FWs, measuring risk and performance impact.
- Capable to troubleshoot incidents on FW expert level.
- Very good understanding of Next Generation FW blades (NGFW).
Must have Cisco ACI knowledge and experience:
- Knowledge of application centric infrastructure.
- Provide technical expertise on all stages of the project.
- POC conduction on lab to deploy in later stage on production.
- Capable to deploy projects with minimum supervision.
Must have IP Routing/Switching knowledge and experience:
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols and switching infrastructure.
