Cloud Engineer - AWS infrastructure - London - Active DV/SC Clearance - Onsite - 12 months
Our client, a market leading multi-national technology company are looking for a Cloud Engineer, to join them on a project based in London. The assignment is an initial 12-month contract and can offer a competitive daily rate.
Role Overview:
This role is for a Cloud Engineer to work with our customer in London on their AWS infrastructure.
- Must have ACTIVE DV or SC clearance
- Experienced AWS engineers with 3+ years' experience working on high profile projects involving defining and implementing cloud security best practices such as zero trust networking
- Demonstrable experience building reusable patterns using infrastructure as code to ensure best practice is baked in
- Strong understanding of core AWS services for example EC2, S3, SQS, RDS, IAM, Lambda, Route53 etc.
- Comfortable working as part of an Agile delivery team helping to refine stories, deliver features and contribute to retrospectives
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Key skills needed:
- Running automated tests to assure systems are resilient to a range of threat profiles
- Implementing cloud security best practices such as zero trust networking
- Building dashboards to monitor overall system health for consumption by a range of stake holders
