Cloud Infrastructure Architect, Hybrid role, Client in Brighton. W Sussex- 6 months ?600 pd inside IR35We need you, a proven Cloud Infrastructure Architect, to realise the technical underpinnings of our future estate. In the process ensuring that we meet the Service Standards as identified in the Government's Digital Service (GDS) standards.
You will work closely with Solution Architects, IT delivery colleagues and the Business, to guide the technology design and development carving out a clear, designs and iterative roadmap that will underpin a successful delivery.
Essential and desirable criteria
Broad knowledge and experience of Business Solutions, ideally in the Microsoft Technology Stack
o Including integrating to SaaS and standalone applications, web and cloud technologies
o Azure DevOps and Software Development Lifecycle tools
o Data management methodologies.
o Architecting loosely coupled, event driven solutions.
o Microservices
Expert knowledge in identifying product choices in support of delivery activity authorised through IT governance
Broad knowledge of modern architecture patterns (eg, microservices, data platforms) their suitability, complexities and alternatives.
Broad knowledge of Web, Cloud and Database principles and architectures; specifically, Microsoft technologies, including Sitecore, Azure, SharePoint, Dynamics 365 CRM, .Net, Logic Apps, Power Apps, Power Automate, SQL Server and Enterprise Architecture plus BI/MI experience, ESB/ETL, Data and Cyber Security and SaaS, PaaS plus IaaS.
Assist with delivering end-to-end software life cycle improvements, using agile and DevOps delivery methods and multi-disciplinary teams
Desirable
Experience of 'service Design' and working with architectures to support service delivery.
Experience of PowerApps and Power Automate
Experience of SharePoint
Experience of Power BI
Working to and meeting standards and guidelines as identified by GD
