Description
We are looking for an Azure Architect to be responsible for the definition of the infrastructure architecture (current, resultant and target states) for their assigned scope, ensuring infrastructure architecture links to the overall strategy and target architecture; and satisfies the business, customer and architecture outcomes
Responsibilities:-
- Creates architecture models and roadmaps for infrastructure components to meet business and technical requirements
- Manage the repository of infrastructure architecture models, roadmaps, patterns, standards and outcomes
- Defines, creates and manages multi-year roadmaps for realising the bank's target infrastructure architecture
- Translates roadmaps into packages of work to be included in Project Plans (in line with P3M)
- Assures the implementation of infrastructure architecture outcomes to ensure that the design and delivered components are in line with the defined target architecture
- Collaborates with stakeholders across multiple franchises & functions to help them understand and support the infrastructure architecture changes required to satisfy the business and bank-wide outcomes
- Supports architecture team development and training through sharing knowledge and skills
- Keeps up to date on industry thinking, best practice aware and standard patterns for key infrastructure services (eg End User Services, Compute Services, Security Services, Service Management, Network Services)
- Promotes best practice in infrastructure architecture methods and standards, contributing to the maintenance of the Bank's architecture methods

Microsoft stack .Net, React etc from software perspective and usual Infrastructure services, like data centre, network, security etc
