2nd Line Support/Field Engineer - Normanton (List of Sites below) - 4 months (Inside IR35)
My client is looking for a 2nd line Support Engineer to be based at one of the below locations but happy to travel throughout various sites within North & East England from time to time. You will need a full drivers licence and vehicle but we will pay mileage for any travel throughout the contract.
Experience:
You will be providing support to our key clients in an IT service desk environment.
To thrive in a fast-paced environment, troubleshooting challenging queries and experience of IT managed services.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience supporting clients in a Service Desk environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Familiar with working to SLA's & KPI's to meet customer requirements.
- An up to date MCP/MCSE/MCSA qualification would be desirable.
- A qualification in the Office -347 or MS- would be desirable.
- Experience in working in Field Services desirable
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge & experience in Office 365
- Windows Server Technologies
- Ability to build & configure Desktops/Laptops.
- Technical Installation ability eg Network devices, machines, etc.
- Active Directory
- DNS
- Network Infrastructure
- Backup software
- VMware
- Desktop support

North England Sites:
Normanton Based Here/Darlington/Leeds/Newcastle-upon-Tyne/Thirsk/Washington
East England Sites:
Boston/Grimsby/Hull/Lincoln/Scunthorpe/Sheffield/Spalding
