Specialist Engineer (PAM)
Length: 6 months

IR35: Inside PAYE
Rate: £517 PD
My global consultancy client is looking for a PAM (Privileged Access Management) Specialist Engineer for an initial 6 - month contract based in London on a flexible hybrid work model. (2 days)
Essential Skills
. Strong skills in both Windows and Unix operating systems including build, configuration and support of large infrastructures
. Experience of PAM tools
. Proven experience of working in a highly regulated environment with focus on security and automation
. Strong troubleshooting skills
. Mandatory strong skills in at least one programming language and understanding of error handling, input validation and type checking
. Preferable knowledge of PowerShell, and MS SQL
. Preferable experience using PowerShell to automate operational tasks and handle large data sets
. Preferable experience of writing Ansible playbooks for managing environment build and configuration
. Experience of writing Puppet scripts for agent deployments
. DBA knowledge - configuring DB and encryption configuration
. Candidates should be self-motivated, able to work on tasks unsupervised and have strong communication skills
. Positive team player working as part of a large programme
. Accountability for deliverables and proven track record of delivering on schedule
