DevOps Engineer - GCP
6-month contract
Market rate - Inside IR35
London - remote working
Previous banking/financial experience is highly desirable.
We are currently supporting a top-tier banking client based in London who is looking for an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer to join the team.
The ideal GCP DevOps Engineer will have extensive experience deploying scalable cloud (GCP) based services.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for automation and system provisioning, metrics, monitoring, scalability, and security
* Proactively mitigate for malicious security risks and put in place a robust Real Time monitoring framework
Key Experience: - Minimum of 2 years GCP experience
* Deep knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery tooling such as Gitlab, continuous deployment, docker and Terraform
* Extensive production experience using the Google Cloud Platform including Compute, Networking, Functions, Kubernetes, storage, and security
* Production experience using Google's big data technology stack, including big query, big query storage, big query analytics, and cloud data prep
