Description
Synchro have a fantastic opportunity available for a 2nd Line Support Engineer, to join a large and well known organisation on an initial 3 month contract.
You will be responsible for providing 2nd line desktop support to field and office based users across multiple sites, utilizing the Helpdesk support software and ensuring all issues are correctly logged in order to manage workloads appropriately and work to agreed SLAs.
You will have a range of technical skills including Office 365, Active Directory as well as experience of using Remote Management Tools. Any experience of retail systems or retail technology, such as EPOS/POS or RFID would be highly advantageous, although NOT essential.
Some responsibilities of the role:
- Proactively provide information to users on the progress of outstanding support calls
- Provide technical support to telephone and email requests from users for all hardware, software and associated peripherals
- Install, configure and update operating systems and various software packages
Skills required:
- Knowledgeable in Windows 10 and Office 365 and the licensing platforms that support them
- Experienced in using Active Directory, WSUS, WDS and Remote Management tools
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to work under your own initiative when investigating and analysing information, to troubleshoot issues and create a plan to resolve.

LENGTH: 3 months initially
RATE: £175 - £225 per day OUTSIDE of IR35
