Our IT Client is looking for an On-site Technician to work in the following areas and perform these responsibilities.

Ideally looking for suitable applicants who are willing to work all days of the week and living within commuting distance to Southampton. NPPV3 Clearance or willingness to go through the same is mandatory.

Role and Responsibilities:

Provides technical support activities as part of service delivery provision and/or projects deployment, including installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution and maintenance. Responds to customer questions regarding operation and malfunctions. Advises customers on preventative maintenance and configuration adjustments to improve product performance and customer satisfaction. May be mobile or based on site at a customer building or campus. Works without supervision and has depth of specialisation or able to work on a wide range of systems. Supports less experienced On site Technicians in maintaining the availability of the IT service experienced by end users.

  • Someone who enjoys and sees the importance in administrative work.
  • Setting up hardware/laptops.
  • Booking in stock.
  • Following the process for AR updates for bulk requests.
  • Amnesty Booking in of stock.
  • Ordering stock.
  • Assurance of Consumable tool/Monthly.
  • Weekly Stock Checks.
  • Check and balance of repair calls.
  • Raising repair calls from Team (Mobile).
  • Ensuring process of stock in stock rooms is followed.
