Description
An IT Service Transition Manager with current DV level clearance is required to join this public sector organisation based in Corsham, Wiltshire.
The IT Service Transition Manager will provide overall planning for service transitions and coordinate the required resources. In this role, the individual will be expected to control the product life cycle of all changes, enabling beneficial changes to be made with minimum disruption to IT services.
The IT Service Transition Manager will m ake recommendations on go-live, early-life support and service acceptance and be responsible for ensuring that the acceptance criteria are understood by the wider IT operations actively engage and represent at service review rehearsals.
The IT Service Transition Manager will m anage new or changed services introduced into the live environment are supportable and sustainable, ensure migration from one contract or service to existing or new contract or service, Manage all Transfer and Migration risks and risk management best practice.
Candidate for the IT Service Transition Manager role must have:
- Strong experience of providing overall planning for service transitions from project/product delivery with minimal disruption to IT services.
- Strong ITIL knowledge
- Have experience of providing support and technical guidance to a broad range of Programme stakeholders including Programme Governance Boards, Programme Suppliers, Technical Design Authority, Enterprise and Solution Architecture, preferably in a Defence setting for service transitions.
- Experience of JSP604 Joining Rules/Transition Readiness Reviews.
Candidate MUST have current DV level security clearance.
