1st Line Support - IT Helpdesk

Our client is looking for an IT Helpdesk Analyst to start Immediately. This role is £125 p/day on an initial 3 month contract with a view to extend thereafter. You will need to go via an accredited umbrella company as this role is inside IR35.

Ideally you will have previously worked in a multinational/corporate style environment supporting fast paced IT departments.

You will be required to deal with incoming queries, logging, co-ordinating and allocating incidents and requests received via the service portal or telephone.

Required skills/experience

  • Excellent telephone manner and first class customer service skills
  • 1st Line technical support experience would be advantageous
  • Able to work onsite in Kent office
  • Deal effectively with incoming queries, logging incidents & requests.
  • Calm, confident telephone manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle support enquiries (on the telephone, in writing and in person) from internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and to priorities issues
  • Be computer literate and adaptable in using different software
  • Time management and able to work on own initiative
