Description
Contribute to build the Azure Data Bricks & SQL based infra + PowerBi reports necessary to support the Product Master Data Team.
Actively monitor the latest BI technologies and solutions in order to leverage the adequate modern data visualization and analytics technologies to create dynamic business dashboards to effectively communicate and bring key insights to life for customers.
Promote the use of high-quality data and metrics to support a culture of fact-based decision-making in the company by building capabilities and provide guidance and training to the community in visualization and analytics tool usage.
Advises senior leaders and key stakeholders on how data and analytics play a critical role in business management and optimization
Support the migration of the underlying infrastructure of our IDMP PowerBi reporting suite to a new Azure/Denodo stack
Serve as a member of the Master Data Strategy team, participating in strategy development, and providing guidance around tactical decisions.
Contribute to a group of up to 10 experts. According to his/her knowledge/experience, this role may encompass advisory, guidance and coaching of other professionals to ensure their development.
Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
BS or MS in computer science or information system along with work experience in a related field
Over five years of experience in data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing projects
Must have advanced knowledge in the Microsoft Azure stack, and have the ability to contribute to the configuration of the relevant modules
Over five years of experience working with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack having Power BI, MDX, PowerBI, DAX, and SQL SSAS/SSRS/SSIS.
Must have good Python & PySpark skills
Three to four years of experience with a self-service tool such as Power BI or Tableau.
Understanding of JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and other JavaScript libraries is advised.
Demonstrate your ability to quickly shape data into reporting and analytics solutions
Have knowledge of database fundamentals such as multidimensional database design, relational database design, and more
Adequate expertise and experience in delivering solutions to production via Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.
Over three years of experience in communication of technical concepts to senior managers/stakeholders who have no understanding of data science as a discipline; helping them to articulate their needs in a way that speaks to the questions' they are trying to answer.
Ability to speak: French
Excellent communication (written/oral) in English.
