Description

My client, a Central Government department responsible for critical infrastructure in the UK seek a Identity & Access Management Engineer responsible for managing, developing, and supporting the Identity & Access Management Platform at HS2.

This function provides the underpinning governance (Policies, Processes, and Technology) of Identity & Access to support the wider business in being able to effectively utilise IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • To be accountable for ensuring Identity services are delivered and used as required
  • To be accountable for the implementation of enhancements or fixes relating to Identity
  • To be responsible for working with and supporting third parties and suppliers to provide IT services
  • To be responsible for ensuring Identity services within organisations work
  • To be responsible for creating and maintaining service-related documentation
  • To be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks according to defined process and work instructions
  • To be accountable for monitoring Identity infrastructure and licensing
  • To be responsible for initiating remediation activity in response to alerts
  • Actively promote and embed Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work, and support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI.

Mandatory skills & Experience

  • IT infrastructure. You can design, implement, administer and support infrastructure technologies, solutions and services, primarily focused around Identity & Access Management.
  • Information security. You understand and apply your knowledge on information security and the types of security controls that can be used to mitigate security threats within solutions and services.
  • Knowledge of technical IT infrastructure concepts and their application
  • Knowledge of IT security controls and best practice
  • Knowledge of Agile Ways of Working
  • Type of Experience:
  • Experience of maintaining and developing IT Platforms, Products or Services.
  • Experience of implementing & managing change.
  • Experience of documenting business & technical processes.
