Cyber Security Engineer
Working from home a Cyber Security Engineer is required on an 18-month contract basis to work for a major defence client.
Paying up to £67 per hour Umbrella
Overview
- Helping identify and suggest recommendations for cybersecurity-related risks. The team reviews architectural architectures to identify cybersecurity-related risks and works with the application team to come up with recommendations on remediations.
Skills
- Understanding Cloud services, especially Azure and AWS
- Understanding cybersecurity-related vulnerabilities and how to mitigate them
- Computer Science-related background. Preferred certs: CISSP, Cloud related (AZ900 or Cloud practitioner) GISCP, GSEC, etc
- Ability to explain technical vulnerabilities, risks, and controls in simple terms and influence others to remediate even though there are time and cost restraints.
- Time management and self-starter.
- Provide timely information to internal teams and business partners.
