Senior Applications Specialist - 3 Month Contract - London - £450 Daily
I am working with London Borough which is in need of a Senior Application Specialist to join them for a 3-month project (this is likely to be extended). The role is to support the delivery of the current service being offered by the local authority and to support BAU functions. Prior experience in working with Off-the-Shelf Applications (COTS), ideally in a public sector environment, and experience working with the complete application life cycle in a similar role is looked upon favourably.
Fundamentally, the right candidate will understand applications (this is vital) and we are looking for someone with experience:
- Working with server-based applications and configurations
- Dealing with 3rd party suppliers and vendors
- Working with 1st line, 2nd & 3rd line support
- Working within a network background
- Moving to Windows 11 - support with test applications
- With troubleshooting
Please note this is an application support not and not a Desktop Engineer or Development role.
We are looking to move quickly for this role, so interviews will be happening w/b the 21st of November. We are able to consider short notice periods. This is a mainly remote role with occasional visits to the London office.
