Lead IT Support Engineer/Senior Helpdesk Analyst - Microsoft, ERP, CRM, Hardware, Software, Applications
Our rapidly expanding client is seeking a dynamic, hands-on, and technically Lead IT Support Engineer/Senior Helpdesk Analystwith a solid IT background and good knowledge of system administration, network configuration and day by day office support of Microsoft Office, Active Directory, ERP, CRM and Windows platform.
You will be responsible for running IT operations mainly through support activities within the UK subsidiary.
The successful astute Lead IT Support Engineer/Senior Helpdesk Analystwill have experience of supporting, troubleshooting, and configuring End User Computing (EUC) equipment such as laptops, PCs and printers as well as software, hardware and business applications.
Other duties will include:
- Assist and support customers with new IT tools.
- Escalate to the third level support group when needed and manage the final closure of the ticket
- Manage at local level minor issues
- Maintain and troubleshoot various IT problems (software, hardware, business applications)
- Support the local team in the UK roll-out of different IT products and services (store ERP platform, CRM tool, CMS plugins, module for print & marketing, module for logistics)
- Support the ERP platform migration and roll-out process by working on the configuration needed and with the UK team on training activities (manuals, videos, etc.)
- Ability to escalate priorities at Global level when needed
- Help, train and advise about IT tools related to business opportunities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
Technical skills and experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoftt Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Active Directory, ERP, CRM and Windows platform.
- Previous experience working in a busy helpdesk/IT Support environment
- Good experience on Project Management
- Advanced to expert user of Excel and good grasp of data analysis
- Solid IT background with skills on simple system administration, network configuration and day by day office support
- Basic Knowledge of the main integration technologies (API, WebServices )
- Structured approach, process oriented, multi-tasking and ability to prioritize
This is a 1-year contract (with a possibility of an extension), based in Lancashire/remote and is paying a salary of up to £40,000 (DOE) + benefits
