Global Product Line DirectorThe Product Management Director is responsible for establishing a business growth strategy for the assigned product portfolio. The incumbent will partner with Sales, Marketing, Applications Engineering and R&D to identify and drive global growth and own and drive product line performance and profitability including cost positioning, pricing strategies, competitive analysis, product lifecycle management. This product leadership role is responsible for the Growth of the entire product line within all segments.
40% Home based , 60% global travel

Job Scope
Define market strategy for group
Ensure business execution to meet or exceed annual revenue and operating income targets
Report on the status of the product portfolio in reviews and monthly reports
Work with operations to set service levels, MOQ’s, and on-going demand and supply plan
Set and drive high expectations for product team, to guide them in achieving business goals
Lead growth initiatives (NBOs)
Conduct pricing and profitability analysis and implement initiatives to increase profitability
Provide guidance, strategies and support (product marketing) to Sales team to ensure sales objectives are met; and support sales in development and management of appropriate sales channels
Develop product portfolio growth strategy
Plan and implement a three (to five) year growth plan for the product line- including investment requirements
Develop a global product line growth strategy. Develop appropriate market initiatives which target high value growth opportunities
Evaluate competition, customers, and opportunities as they relate to existing products and potential product development activities, defining product roadmaps for the business in order to achieve/exceed profitability and growth goals
Understand the market need and be able to adapt product portfolio to address these needs. Guide new product development for (product line), including product modifications and product line extensions and identification of opportunities for new platform development
Develop a strategy for portfolio rationalization
Build relationships with strategic customers
Requirements
Degree in Engineering / Science (majoring in electronics/electrical)
10 years product management experience including P&L accountability
At least 3 years experience in developing business strategic plan
Proficient in English and alternate language both written and spoken
Experience of working in a global multinational company
Knowledge in magnetics components business and applications
Proficient in MS Office applications and project management software
Ability to balance theoretical thought with practical
40% Home based, 60% global travel
