An IT Security Analyst is required for a major international organisation. You will need to have strong IT security experience, ideally gained within a large enterprise environment, with good knowledge of application security principles and standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO 17799, 27001.
The IT Security Analyst role will involve working as part of a team, detecting and investigating all security incidents, liaising with the 3rd parties, dealing with PCI checks, compliance checks, security scans, liaising with the relevant technical teams. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
As an IT Security Analyst you will be involved with the operation security across the whole organisation including, measuring, testing and enhancing security levels. You will also be involved with providing guidance on security best practice, compliance with security policies and standards and reviews of third parties.
As an IT Security Analyst you will have the following :
- IT Security experience
- Operational security experience
- Large enterprise environments
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and log analysis
- In depth knowledge of technologies including network, operating systems and applications security
- Knowledge of security principles, best practice and standards: PCI-DSS, ISO 17799, 27001
- Knowledge of Firewalls
- Experience providing security consultancy to projects
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and 3rdparties
