Quantity Surveyor Required Immediately - Power Station Build - OxfordshireAre You An Experienced Quantity Surveyor with Heavy Civil Engineering Experience? I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor for a Quantity Surveyor to be based in Oxfordshire on a 12 month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the countries leading blue chip construction companies on a prestigious project for the area and the companies involved.
The role will involve the candidate having the Commercial acumen to manage a high value project and the interface to deal with both the client and the subcontractors.
The client is looking for candidates that can demonstrate experience of the following:
- Background in Heavy Civil Engineering works
- Power station, petro chem, process plant and large construction builds
- Ability to manage a team of Quantity Surveyors
- Understanding of the NEC form of contract
- Experience of working at a high decision making level
Duties involve procurement/ subcontract negotiations /award monthly applications/ monthly internal cost revenue reports profit /loss forecasts, cost control /cash flow management and dispute resolution to final account settlement.
