Role: Data Quality AnalystLocation: Somerset
Contract: Length: 6-12 months
My Client is looking for a Data Quality Analyst who will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of a new SAP Information Steward installation. They will be supporting the technical setup of Data Services and Information Steward in a production environment.
They will also be coding data quality rules in Information Steward based on business rules agreed with the Data Governance Manager and providing technical expertise to implement the tools required for a culture of strong data governance.
Essential Skills:
- Business Objects Data Services Data Management Tools
- Business Objects Information Steward
- Working knowledge of SAP ECC Master data objects
- Knowledge of SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS) and Information Steward.
- Ability to configure / train / use Data Services and Information Steward
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Highly self-motivated with a keen attention to detail
- Experience of using Information Steward in multiple SAP production environment
- Experience of batch cleansing SAP data using Data Services
- Previous involvement in Data Quality projects
Desirable:
- Experience of the Project life cycle.
- Data Governance Frameworks
- Business insight to be able to understand the strategic value of data
- Understanding of information management and Data Governance concepts
