Supplier Assurance Manager - RCSA - EdinburghMy client, are recruiting for a Supplier Assurance Manager, to develop and maintain the Risk & Control Self Assessment team and associated risk controls, actions and reporting.
Salary - £59,000 - £69,000 plus benefits
Location - Edinburgh
Responsibilities
You are accountable for the development and execution of all Supplier Assurance activity in Procurement & Supplier Management.
To develop and maintain the team Risk & Control Self Assessment (RCSA) and associated risk controls, actions and reporting of P&SM Risk Profile.
For the creation and maintenance of the departmental Business Risk scenario.
You will prepare and manage the Supplier RCSA action tracker, and ensure progress of actions is managed across the Supplier Manager population, escalating issues when required to Senior Management.
Proactively and where appropriate challenge customer demands which are not aligned with Procurement Policy, SMF or best practice.
Maintains an awareness of changing legislation and its impact on supplier management activity.
Provide technical coaching & guidance to 1LOD colleagues across the business.
Lead the supplier Assurance team.
Skills and Experience
Proficient at managing Risk in a regulated or controlled environment.
Experience of working autonomously, organising and prioritising own workload.
Comfortable engaging & challenging Senior Stakeholders across the business.
Be a recognised Expert in Risk Management, Assurance and Control.
Be comfortable preparing Board level reports and representing the Director of Procurement & Supplier Management at Risk meetings.
Have a working knowledge of Procurement, Supplier Management and 3 rd party contracts.
