The Electronics Architect will contribute to the on-going growth in development and engineering, by contributing to project acquisition, the product architecture and the project execution with electronics development partners.
As Electronics Architect you will be responsible for:
- The design of electronic components and control systems for high-end mechatronic modules.
- Developing architectural concepts and design, specification of electronic modules and systems and supporting trade-offs between mechanical, electronic, and software competencies.
- Specification and outsourcing specific development and engineering activities at electronics development partners.
- Maintaining a network of 'best in class' electronics development and engineering partners.
- Leading the electronics designers and engineers in the multidisciplinary project team.
- Contributing specialist knowledge in one or more electronic engineering fields, such as signal processing, analog, digital and power electronics, firmware, buses, PCB lay-out, EMI, etc.
- Supporting allocation of manufacturing and other supply chain decisions.
- Documenting specifications, concepts, and designs, test analysis results.
Skills Requirement
- Technical Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in design of electronic control systems and components for high-end equipment and/or products, in multidisciplinary development teams.
- Team player, analytical, pragmatic, creative.
- Good communication skills and proficient in English and preferably in Dutch.
