Description
My NHS client based in the South East is currently recruiting for a Band 8b Continuing Healthcare Team Leader for a 3 month interim role.You will be responsible for implementing national policy an the Framwork for NHS Continuing Healthcare and NHS Funded Nursing Care.
To take a lead role in the service development and redesign based on analysis of CHC service provision. You will need the ability to drive the service forward.
To advice the CCG and other partners on complex cases
To promote awareness of Continuing Healthcare on behalf of the CCG
Main duties and responsibilities:
- To support the Head of Nursing in developing and implementing commissioning strategies for Continuing Care
- Utilise expert knowledge and experience to liaise with and provide highly specialist advice and support to colleagues within the CCG, Acute Trust, Mental Health Trust, GPs, Social Care, Independent Providers, Nursing and Residential Home Staff
- To provide the management lead for commissioning best value
Essential Skills:
- Experience of working on Continuing Healthcare
- Current clincal / social care registration
- Team management
This is an immediate start 3 month role. Day rate is negotiable.
