Description

A Global Renewable Energy client is looking for a Construction Supervisor to work on their offshore wind farm project. The Construction Supervisors task will include: Site representation at Onshore substation site in relation to supervision and inspection of all activities during execution e.g H & S, Quality control and Inspection activities and site records, Material, manufacturing, construction, inspection & testing, e.g planned & spot-checks of steel, concrete works material reception control, traceability. Our client is looking for an individual who can start this role approx. 1st May 2015 up until approx. 30th April 2017. Hours of work are 5 days per week approx. 10hrs per day.

Skills:

• Proven track record from similar projects (electrical substations)
• Practical and logical qualities and a methodical way of thinking
• Creative and innovative approach to problem- solving
• Ability to writ clear and precise reports and to relate complex information in a clear and concise way
• Technically strong, adaptable, can work well in a team, strong communications abilities
• Negotiating and team- working skills and the ability to motivate those on site
• Detailed knowledge of past and current building and construction technology, processes and materials

Qualifications:

• BSc or technician within civil engineering/civil works
• 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience within onshore construction works and quality disciplines
