Biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility currently has a contract requirement for an experienced Project Planner to work on the planning activities of the new HVAC & Utilities installation.Working on an £80 million Capital Investment programme on site, to provide refurbishment and upgrade work, we are looking for an experienced Project Planner to work as part of the Capital Projects Team to oversee the planning activities on the HVAC & Utilities.
Job Description:
• Assuring that project plans specific to HVAC and Utilities are regularly updated and within levels of certainty, to allow effective monitoring, forecasting and control.
• Ensuring that project schedules specific to HVAC and Utilities conform to the Change Control Process, in terms of liaison, communication and calculation of change notes and change orders.
• Ensure that standard Project Planning requirements are met, understood and embedded from both Contractors and Sub-Contractors into the project systems.
• Producing planning reports for input into the monthly reporting process for HVAC and utilities.
• Liaise with and co-ordinate vendors and service providers for HVAC and Utilities as part of a project team.
• Support the set-up of a maintenance plan and a maintenance system on the HVAC and Utilities for future operational activities.
Skills Required:
• Recent experience in the pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical industry.
• A sound understanding of HVAC and Utilities planning and proven experience of working as part of a project matrix to deliver scheduling on both new installations and existing upgrades.
• Experience of validation and the understanding of the process would be a distinct advantage.
• Knowledge of the software tool MS Project, previous experience of primavera would be beneficial during planning activities on utilities and HVAC.
• Excellent communicator with ability to drive projects forward as part of a project team.
Highly likely of an extension after 6 months due to the current work load.
