Governance Support Officer:

Document and records management, process implementation, delivery of training, change, transformation.

Our client is a global organisation with a 5 month contract opportunity for a Governance Support Officer to working on a strategic transformation project focused on documents and Records management across the business.

Excellent opportunity to be part of an exciting programme implementing change to current working practises. Reporting to the Records Manager you will provide a central support service for Business areas working closely with Functional Records owners and Line Managers.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Manage, maintain, improve and communicate Document and Records Management processes, guidance & training

- Liaise with Group legal and Records Managers across the UK on Document Creation, Retention & Disposal policy, associated processes, guidance & training

- Group wide support and query answering

- Co-ordinate and undertake assurance activities

- Support the management of 3rd Party Service Providers to ensure they meet requirements and continuously improve services

- Co-ordinate associated Forums, Records managers review and supporting activities
