Description

A leading Renewable Energy client is looking for WTG Fabrication Inspector to work on their offshore wind farm project based in the UK. The WTG Fabrication Inspector will be required to follow up daily manufacturing/repair activities. This is anticipated to be approx. a 15 month role and ideally the client is looking for an individual to start 27th April 2015 and end 31 July 2016, but with the possibility of extensions. Work pattern: 5 full working days per week, 8 hours a day in average.
Responsibilities:
Quality check manufacturing process
Register findings on a combined list on a daily basis
Reporting to DEWP, meetings on site
Final check of final blades
Skills:
Expertise in composite materials, including systems:
Resins and fiber reinforcement systems for wind turbine blades
Adhesive for blade structural assembly and aerodynamic appurtenances
Blade coating
Detailed areas:
Materials specifications
Surface preparation
Tools and workmanship during process
Curing
Quality control in form of acceptance criteria, test equipment and traceability
Health, Safety and Environment
Qualifications:
3 years experience within wind and or/manufacturing
1 years experience from similar position
Adaptable, works well in teams, strong communication skills
Good written and oral skills
