Proteus Europe are currently looking for a SAP R/3 application expert with a background in identity and access management for one of our clients based in Belgium.Job description:
Required skills:
- Minimum 4 years experience as SAP R3 authorization functional analyst, with general functional experience of the key SAP R3 modules. SAP Certification is a plus.
- Additional authorization modeling and management expertise in other SAP components, as well as with other identity and access management oriented applications will be highly appreciated.
- Expertise in SoD risk management and GRC functionalities is a plus.
- Proven experience implementing and managing identity and authorization solutions in large industrial companies using SAP Solutions.
- Proven ability to assess business requirements, design solutions, produce functional analysis / technical document, implement solutions, control and test developped solutions
- Experience in ITIL processes, service delivery and operation outsourcing are a plus.
- Combined knowledge and interest mix between business and technology
- Strong analytical skills combined with good level of communication and training skills.
- Ability to work independently, defining targets and prioritizing tasks in a demanding environment.
- Structured, customer service minded, team-player, proactive and highly committed.
- English (fluent written and spoken). Other European languages are a plus
Overall Responsibilities
- SAP Identity, Security and Access subject matter expert, focusing on user management processes, authorization modeling, GRC functionalities and licensing management for all key SAP systems, including their interfacing to other authentication systems.
- Provide functional expertise and design authority enabling Yara to manage and improve its business processes and supporting solutions using SAP and other integrated solutions.
- Provide best in class maintenance and development services to SAP and satellites deployed solutions and functionalities, guaranteeing their continuous accessibility, availability, reliability and efficiency.
Main Activities
Application Expertise
- SAP identity and access management solutions and functionalities lifecycle management, focusing on change management, business operation risk minimization, quality management, documentation and test management
o Solution template design authority and documentation.
o Increase solution performance and utilization efficiency through improvement initatives, solution training and best practices promotion
o Ensure solutions remains up to date, in line with SAP recommendations.
o Develop quality management guidelines. Secure maintenance and development activities are provided accordingly.
o Ensure transition of development to business as usual and related knowledge acquisition.
- Provide level 3 support where relevant.
- Support super user network and business process key-stakeholders, maintaining their solution knowledge, providing expertise services, organizing training and workshops. Actively contribute to discussions, community forums and process governance steering.
- Closely work with the internal business risk management team and IT security architect in minimizing the company risk exposure to the usage of SAP. Assist in risk remediation and mitigation activities
- In accordance to governance and using SAP GRC, administrate authorization role change management, monitoring of SAP IT risks and firefighter activities.
- Manage the different SAP landscape user population lifecycle and related licencing optimization.
- Participate to SAP audits and manage related recommended change implementation.
- Actively participate as expert and design authority to global projects and development activities, focusing on requirement gathering, functional analysis and advice, solution design and prototyping, implementation driving, testing coordination and solution transfer to business.
Application Service Management
1. Manage SAP identity and access management solutions related IT services focusing on availability and performance management, incident / problem management and service request management.
- Ensure the services are provided in quality, according to agreed service levels and in respect to governance. Liaise with other IT teams and coordinate multi service provider activities accordingly.
- Maintain and document key information and roadmap related to the application/functionalities and the processes/services in place to manage them.
Education
- Degree, preferably Master (minimum Bachelor), within Business Administration / Engineering / Computer Science with minimum 6 years relevant professional experience. Long relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
Consultant Immediate Assignment
During the first month, consultant will be assigned to:
- receive knowledge transfer in regards to current SAP R3 solution as well SAP GRC
- use GRC to control IT risk and R3 authorization change activities
- manage authorization modeling related to dedicated development / project / remediation activities
- assist in the global SAP license optimization project
