Description

The Performance Engineer ensures processes owned by the IT department maintain the highest level of performance for the right cost. Therefore the Performance Engineer designs, implements and monitors, together with the departmental management and process owners, processes with performance measurements. Where indicated by the performance measurements, the Performance Engineer drives the improvement of these processes.

TASK LIST

Responsible to organize IT improvements to increase the business capability
Perform business analysis in the IT domain
(includes process, data, organization design; define measure and reporting needs)
Decide on didactic and communication approach and create supportive material
Develop, document and implement adequate tool support for IT processes and methods. This includes for example ARIS usage, KPI definition, dashboards, traffic lights, financial reporting tools,
Implement the processes and measures with proper data flow and ownership
Deliver zero measures and recurrent measures, support with root cause analysis, define actions to improve.
Perform governance and audits on process and method appliance wrt. quality, efficiency and costs.
Challenge all internal customers to improve their way of working in order to maximize the value of the client.

COMPETENCES

Business & Technical knowledge

Good understanding of process management methodologies and tools
Knowledge of business Strategy Definition & Requirements challenging
Knowledge of Quality Management, Capability Maturity Model, Six Sigma, Lean, etc.
Understanding of IT Processes and methodologies
Knowledge of IT Standards (ITIL, COBIT)
Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (Zachmann, Togaf, SOA,...)
Good understanding of project management methodologies and tools
Knowledge of PMBOK and Prince 2
Knowledge to evaluate in each circumstances which are the needed improvement levels and details
Strong knowledge of techniques to perform analysis
Strong knowledge of MS Office tools
English verbal & written, able to understand French and Dutch
People leadership
