Project Details: My NHS client based in the East Midlands and will be looking for Interim Senior Infection Prevention Nurse Lead to work on an initial 4 month contract.
As the Senior Infection Prevention Nurse you support the Head of Infection and prevention with an overall goal to reduce the number of incidents within the Trust that are due to non prevention.
The Senior Infection Prevention Nurse will ensure that the Trust is compliant with local standards and national standards around infection prevention including the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
You will also be expected liaise with all clinical areas within the Trust to provide expert advice on any issues surrounding Infection Prevention and also carry out research as well as collaborating with colleagues to maximise the organisations understanding.
This is a brilliant opportunity for somebody with a lot of experience to assist more junior members of the Infection Prevention team, especially to the surveillance and audit nurse.
A key requirement for this client is a current Nursing Registration.
