My client who are a leading name in the Energy and Utility sector are currently looking for a design engineer to join them.
Role:
INTERMEDIATE Mechanical Engineer JOB PURPOSE
* The design of district heating schemes including energy centres and distribution networks
* Preparation of calculations, equipment selection and drawings
* On site design work to include resolving problems, updating drawings and documents
* Site survey and dilapidation reports
* Ensure that the project is designed to the clients Community Energy's (CE) quality and design standards and meeting all relevant legislative requirements
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF ROLE
* Take responsibility for mechanical design aspects of district heating projects
* Undertake design work which appropriately balances the safety, customer, commercial, legal and regulatory requirements
* Communicate and co-operate across the business to deliver projects on time, on budget and to specification.
