Description
A top corporate bank is looking for a Compliance Monitoring Assistant Vice President to join their team in the City of London. This firm is offering a competitive salary and good bonus potential, as well as the opportunity for quick career progression.The key focus of this role will be in assisting the driving forward of the implementation of the compliance monitoring strategy across all business areas, helping to ensure that a risk based model is utilised. This is to make sure that the controls in place in regards to higher risk business areas are working correctly. You will also aid in the development of a management information framework to support the risk based monitoring approach, and help to complete the compliance monitoring programme.
For this position, 4-5 years of compliance monitoring experience working in a corporate/commercial bank is preferred. You will need to be experienced in undertaking thematic reviews and outcome testing, and also have good knowledge of FCA regulations including source books such as COBS, PRIN and SYSC. Good knowledge of fixed income products is also preferred.
