Description
Engineering process systems specialist / Project Engineer required to assist Engineering to achieve key site metrics, whilst optimising and streamlining the current quality, safety, finance, operational excellence, training and engineering systems used within the Engineering department.Key responsibilities:
* Working with the engineering department and other departments onsite, to develop and maintain internal reporting metrics for quality events, training, CAPAs, QA documentation compliance and EHS compliance actions.
* In addition to the above, the incumbent will assist with the preparation of financial deliverables, such as monthly projections, PO management, budget preparation reports, as well as assist with the preparation for the monthly capital and expense governance meetings and maintain the Engineering department projects teamshare site.
Requirements:
* A key focus for the successful candidate will be to work with the engineering team to identify operational excellence opportunities to optimise and streamline existing project related work activities and eliminate non value added work.
* The ideal candidate will have a third level degree in an Engineering related or technical discipline coupled with at least 5 years technical experience in a pharmaceutical or GMP environment with experience of continuous innovation processes and good influencing skills.
* The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and have a logical approach to problem solving with good attention to detail is a distinct advantage.
* The candidate needs to be proficient in the use of computer systems software packages excel, word, project...etc.
