Description
A Site Manager is wanted to join a leading glass packaging manufacturer for their facility in Leeds. With an excellent history of producing glass for some unique and world wide brands, this position is looking for a Site Manager to join them as they expand.Your Role
- Manage the day to day operations of a large glass packaging site
- liaise with the Director of sites on a weekly, and / or ad hoc basis
- Lead the junior management team
- Identify and tackle issues as they appear and take on responsibility for key issues
- Manage the P & L for the site
About you
- A minimum of 10 years experience in manufacturing, preferably in glass bottling, or in heavy iundustry, such as steel
- Degree educated or similar level of qualifications
- Knowledge and experience of working in a lean environment
- Previous experience in a senior management position
- Able to manage your own and others time
