Description
Following a recently commissioned review of services my Client who are a North East based Council are looking to secure support from a suitably experienced Interim to work in tandem with their CCG and other health economy partners.The main focus of this post will be on CSE (Child Sexual Exploitation) and on how to best translate the agreed action plan into day to day services. This role will require the support of someone who has worked at both a strategic and operational level within Children's Services and your experience to date will pay particular reference to Children's Safeguarding, Looked after Children (LAC) CSE or other similarly specialised areas within this agenda.
The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp on current reviews and legislation which affect CSE including the recent Rotherham review. It would also be beneficial if you have previous experience of working within National Steering Groups.
This role can be conducted flexibly on a 3 to 5 day basis and whilst strategic level experience is essential, you will need to have an operational understanding and be prepared to embed ideas at an operational level.
