Network, Engineer, LAN, WAN, Cisco, Juniper
On behalf of a market-leading client, we are seeking an experienced network engineer to reinforce the network team (four people) to help on developments, follow complex incidents and lead some of the ongoing projects.
Incorporating a team of 3 people under the responsibility of the network manager, you will have wide scope of the projects in Europe, Middle East, Asia:
- Make sure the top level of technical support in operating incidents.
- You are the technical expert on the networks and interconnections with operators
- In addition, you will intervene in technical expertise on the management of network services and support activities and maintenance of networks and telecommunications infrastructure,
- Finally you will take over or participate in projects.
All this must be done in coordination with technical teams for the Group's pooled infrastructure.
Some examples of exciting challenges that await you:
- Arrival of Russia (new operator network characteristics such as telephony, 200 locations and more ...)
- Redesign and reconstruction of telecommunications nodes (improved routing, in DRP)
- Rethinking and then redo the Internet infrastructure for users and business (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Bluecoat Proxy)
- Draft restandardisation LAN shops and seats (HP switch, Wifi Aruba)
- Redefinition of Company standard (LAN, wireless, Firewall and remote connections users and partners)
- Draft VoIP, launch and deployment to users of our 600+ two seats this year
- Selection and implementation of new tools for supervision/administration
- Redesign of access for remote users (Juniper MAG)
- DHCP architecture redesign study and choice of solution
Skills:
- Excellent level of at least one of these technology: dynamic routing, WAN, VPN, MPLS
- Able to explain some technical concepts.
- Experience and established WAN routing
- The system of concepts (windows or unix) are appreciated
- Very good spoken and written English
