Description
One of our NHS clients in Gloucester are looking for a short term Clinical Coder. The initial contract is for 6 weeks but there is the possibility of an extension. The day rate is £220-£230.This is ideal to use as a trial contract if you're new to contracting, or to fill a gap between contracts.
The contract is 37.5 hours p/w with standard hours being . However the Trust are offering flexibility between 7am-6pm.
The successful Clinical Coder will be involved in a short term coding product involving a general mix of live case specialities.
The successful Clinical Coder will have achieved accredited Clinical Coder (ACC) status, the recognised Clinical Coder Qualification, and completed a refresher course within the last 3 years. Candidates without this must have substantial Clinical Coding experience which can be backed up with quality references. The candidate will also have updated coding books from the last 2 years.
The role can start as soon as possible.
