Description
A well-established client of mine based in South Wales currently have an immediate vacancy for a Cost Reduction Project Engineer. This role will initially be on a 9 month contract with the view to it becoming a permanent position at the end of those 9 months.
This is going to be a fairly varied position and will include the following:
* Working alongside both the supply chain and production engineering teams
* Working with a range of suppliers to identify and compare alternative components and materials
* Experience of face-to-face negotiation skills will be essential
* Experience of operating or testing complex capital equipment
* Experience working with 3D cad packages such as Solid Edge or Solidworks
