Description
My NHS client based in the South West is currently recruiting for a Senior Urgent Care Commissioning Manager band 8b.You must have operational experience of Urgent Care either from a provider or commissioner side.
Day to day duties:
- System wide forum support
- Responsibility for escalation Urgent Care System management
- On call rota
- Assurance documents - pulling together of plans
- Keeping the service 'business as usual'
Essential skills:
- Urgent Care experience
- Managerial scope
- Diplomacy working across 3 customers
- Understanding of current national policy of Urgent Care
- Effective and efficient system management
Desirable skills:
- Acute and Urgent Care commissioning
- Experience of working on Urgent Care improvement programmes
This role will have one main base though there may be travel required to other locations.
This is an immediate start role for a minimum of three months. Day rate is negotiable.
