Quality Engineer - North East - Long term contract
My client are looking for a resident quality engineer for a long term contract.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience:
Receive from customer all the claims concerning harnesses. Analyze/expertise of the claims
Send clear description of the problems (for claims and alerts also) to the concerned department. Explain precisely the problem with photos and verify the good understanding of it internally.
Bring technical and methodological support to customer to investigate problems when customer does not give sufficient information to describe the problem.
Refuse claims when customer does not give factual proof of responsibility.
Secure the customer production: organize and follow sortings and reworks
Manage interim staff during sorting
Follow and optimize cost for sorting and reworks/all securzation activities
Follow PDCA/8D analysis
Refuse plant documents for the treatment of the claims when they do not satisfy PDCA best practice
Implication into serial life modifications and new productions start of production at the customer plant:
- Verify initial samples et control report
- Verify pre-serial harness production (PS and PSP)
- Participate to mock up tests
Make improvement proposal of our products during customer difficulties analysis
