Description for the Vmware Consultant:
Plan, design, implement and execute testing to support VMware solution development.
Act as the Subject matter expert for virtualization technologies
Experience in designing and building private cloud.
Develop and deliver test plan, reports, technical presentations, addressing various areas of the virtualization solution in agreed timeframes.
Build a roadmap and vision for the virtualization.
Support, assist, and consult with various levels through delivery of technical presentations and reports.
Responsible for on-going recommendations and best practices for virtualization solutions around business continuity, high availability, backup, recovery and archiving.
Define issues and drive resolution with operations and vendors.
Perform any other job related instructions as requested, with reasonable accommodation.
Reports the work done and the status of projects tasks to project manager and parent organisation weekly
Skills:
Excellent fundamental knowledge in VMware and virtualization.
Multiple years' experience with VMware.
Multiple years of relevant technical experience in virtualization
Good technical, documentation and communication skills
Language: English & French
