Project Manager - Data Centre/SDN/Cloud
My Client, a world leading Telecoms Company is currently looking for a Project Manager with strong Data Centre knowledge for a long term contract based in their Johannesburg office.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience;
Technical profile:
- Background in Data Center (DC) and understanding of facilities related to DC
- Deep dive technical not required but more an architectural vision: needs to understand the industry: cloud, SDN, etc.
- Preferably relationships with 3rd party DC vendors such as Netapp, EMC, Microsoft, F5, Vmware, etc.
- Candidate should have experience in Africa
Profile:
- Understand Cloud infrastructures and specifically Cloud portal software, service creation etc.
- Project management skills are a plus but not 100% required: however ability to create project plans
- Strong leadership and ability to lead conversation (and own) at CIO level skills
- Hand-holding and mentoring skills
