Job Title: Mechanical Designer
The Maximum Pay Rate: £32 p/h
Location: Didcot/near Chilton
Contract Length: 2 months duration potential extension
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for initial provision and though life support of Mechanical systems. The position provides through live equipment support to the various Project Teams.
Key deliverables:
To produce a complete set of detailed drawings from existing design LZ Dark Matter vessel
Essential:
Working within the Technology Department
Designing long life cryogenic coolers- refrigerators for space crafts and satellites.
The ideal candidate will be viewing preparatory designs and initial sketches, and facilitating in the manufacturing process by sending to internal and external manufacturers to process.
Solid Edge CAD
Desirable:
Candidates have experience designing within in cryogenic temperatures
Experience working in a scientific/research and development environment
