Description
We are looking for a Mechanical Tester for a long term contract in Suwanee, GA.
Skills for Mechanical Tester:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic troubleshooting skills
Ability to correctly use testing gauges and test equipment.
Experience in Conventional building processes a plus
Ability to read and interpret drawings and legends
Leak testing experience preferred, but not required
Working understanding of lean concepts
Knowledge of required processes and procedures within facility
Brazing experience preferred
Able to work with all levels of employees
Able to work with minimal supervision
Basic understanding of refrigeration flow systems required
Able to work overtime as required by production needs, even on short notice
Responsibilities for Mechanical Tester:
Equipment testing as required by various product lines
Perform test equipment PM's as required
Correct problems found during testing and/or notify lead or supervisor
Leak testing on other product line as needed
Production work on other product lines as needed
Final checks of products and completion of documentation for files
Final review of equipment and completion of inspection information
Observe and follow safety rules and regulations
Support lean initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned
