Senior Development Engineer I - Panel (m/f)

Your tasks:
- Definition of component requirements including critical characteristics
- Assure of all customer requirements, based on customer specifications
- Creation of product specifications and supplier specification
- Maintenance of bill of material (prototypes, series), tracking list of components and action plans in the particular valid systems
- Set-up and monitoring of tooling schedule
- Follow-up of product validation
- Lead of product change management
- Follow-up of part life cycle documentation
- Coordination between the members of the project if comprehensive part changes occur (interface management)
- Analyze product, define action plan for improvement and implementation of changes in order to ensure product quality in line with customer expectation
- Presentation of product and action plan
- Preparation of rework sheets
- Failure analysis
- Maturity improvement (coordination, definition, tracking)
Your qualifications
- Masters degree in engineering
- Experience in design and development within automotive industry interior systems
- Knowledge in Instrument Panel
- Knowledge and experience in project management processes
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Experience in Ford processes /products will be a advantage
- Experience in dealing with suppliers and customers
- Good language skills in Englisch
- German is an advantage
