We are looking for a
Senior Development Engineer I - Panel (m/f)

Your tasks:
  • Definition of component requirements including critical characteristics
  • Assure of all customer requirements, based on customer specifications
  • Creation of product specifications and supplier specification
  • Maintenance of bill of material (prototypes, series), tracking list of components and action plans in the particular valid systems
  • Set-up and monitoring of tooling schedule
  • Follow-up of product validation
  • Lead of product change management
  • Follow-up of part life cycle documentation
  • Coordination between the members of the project if comprehensive part changes occur (interface management)
  • Analyze product, define action plan for improvement and implementation of changes in order to ensure product quality in line with customer expectation
  • Presentation of product and action plan
  • Preparation of rework sheets
  • Failure analysis
  • Maturity improvement (coordination, definition, tracking)


Your qualifications
  • Masters degree in engineering
  • Experience in design and development within automotive industry interior systems
  • Knowledge in Instrument Panel
  • Knowledge and experience in project management processes
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Experience in Ford processes /products will be a advantage
  • Experience in dealing with suppliers and customers
  • Good language skills in Englisch
  • German is an advantage
