IT Defect&Issue Manager- Stockholm - 7 months

We are currently looking for a IT Defect&Issue Manager for a 7months assignment with our customer in Stockholm.

The main purpose of the role will be handling of Defect Management four Common Data warehouse monthly change releases and making sure that blocking issues, preventing our progress, are resolved. You will be a point of contact for all Defect/Issue status related queries.

Responsibilities:
* Defect process efficiencies: Define the scope for the defect process and assure continual improvements throughout the Defect Lifecycle. Also assure the integration to related processes in other work-streams - e.g. Change/Development Process
* Defect Planning: Produce defect backlog for each release and feed the upcoming test cycle with these. Ensure that information is collected from previous execution activity and feed into the planning process. Attend management meetings as required.
* Manage Communications: Ensure that the defect management process is understood across the organisation, and provide regular reporting on status and issues.
* Defect Governance: Govern the progress of defects through the defect management process in accordance with its severity. Provide independent quality assurance to validate that defects are resolved satisfactorily, according to the defined test procedures and make sure that appropriate evidence is recorded.
* Defect process standards: Responsible for defining the defect workflow, administration and configuration within the tools defined by the programme.
* Issue follow up: Responsible for all issue handling which are preventing further progress within a release
* Defect reporting: produce reports in a timely manner that provide clear information on defect status, and escalations

Required Skills:

* At least 2 years' experience of Defect Management
* Experience of industry leading test and/or defect management tools and integrations - e.g. HP QC / BMC Remedy / Jira
* Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as presentation skills.
* The ability to chair, own, and steer critical meetings with the goal to achieve a satisfactory outcome.
* Good knowledge of software development lifecycle - within Data Warehousing if possible
* In-depth knowledge of infrastructure components and environment to be able to articulate the technical elements of a defect and to help clarify issues across 3rd parties.
* ISTQB and ITIL certification
* Experience of working within Financial services

Languages: Swedish (MUST), English good to have
