Continuous Improvements professional

As part of the Continuous Improvement team your main responsibilities include:
Increase managerial maturity to foster continuous improvement mindset by:
- Contributing to the alignment of principles and actions across the ADM division
- Ensuring through observation, feedback and coaching of enablers like whiteboard meeting, PSS etc that tools and techniques remain in place and their use is properly understood to continuously improve..
Assist in identification of further improvement opportunities
- Challenge management on Lean maturity assessment leading to recommendations for improvement and development.
- Support teams where needed in implementation of further improvement opportunities
Realise improvements on major or transversal processes
- Carry out a diagnostic analysis, defining a future state and ensure the implementation of process improvements and elimination of waste on transversal processes (within the ADM division, but also with other divisions and with the support of other CI teams where necessary)
Provide support to management to increase role modelling
- Role modelling is the key to the sustainability of Lean. You will need to provide the necessary support to line management through feedback & coaching to ensure proper role modelling (develop people through coaching, eliminate problems through problem solving etc)
Ensure alignment with other divisions and within ADM by actively contributing to knowledge management and the continuous improvement of the Lean approach/methodology
Act as a role model
You must be seen as a thought leader and be able to find the right balance between formalism (ie strict guidelines on how to implement Lean) and flexibility (ie deviate from standard practices to accommodate specific situations). Furthermore, you will act as a coach and change agent towards the group's senior managers to motivate them to fundamentally alter their mindset.

Experience in Lean as Navigator or active participation as dedicated operator is strongly desired
In addition, you are stress-resistant and feel comfortable to enter into dialogue with senior managers and have extended experience in coaching through observation and feedback.
