Description
Commercial/Contracts Manager ideally with SC in place (or eligible to obtain SC - ie British Citizen). Experience of working in the Defence field is essential. Educated to degree level in a Business, Legal or Finance based discipline.
The successful Commercial/Contracts Manager will have the overall responsibility for the commercial and contractual arrangements. You will be competent in the fields of commercial costing and financial planning, risk management and contract negotiation.
Advising on early stages of new business relationships. Responsibility for the submission of commercially and financially sound bids, balancing customer compliance with company policy, including sign-off responsibility.
Leading contractual negotiations with customers, involving bid and project managers, as well as business managers. Ensuring that the final negotiated position is within company guidelines and any specific parameters agreed for each bid.
Commercial/Contracts management of ongoing projects including oversight of project performance, reviews and financial monitoring.
